This project was started with a dream in mind and set of plans to match. Our clients always knew there was more that could be done to their existing home, so that they could stay living in the suburb that they had come to love and call home.
The existing home was a little tired after 20 odd years in existence. The mid 90’s style of Mediterranean influence with its Terracotta tiles and Grecian blue kitchen palate was in dire need of an over haul.
We completed an entire internal demolition. All the bedrooms and bathrooms changed around, with the biggest modification of relocating the master bedroom wing into the existing garage location. Here we created a large relaxing area with a bay window seat and spacious oversize Ensuite bathroom with no doors to be seen.
The Kitchen and living area of the remodelled house is a mix of fresh crisp white cupboards and stone, accompanied with a splash of warm, inviting natural cedar clad walls. This is capped off with a beautifully unique and hand crafted custom cedar barn door by Samford Homes. This particular component was pieced together on site by our very talented carpenters.
Finally, the front of the house was finished off with the addition of a newly constructed 2.5 car, drive through garage. This is impressively linked to the main building by a bold block rendered fence and open timber framed pergola. The entrance to the private front courtyard is fronted by another custom entrance gate brilliantly constructed to the client specification.
This is one of Samford Homes’ largest renovation projects to date. One that John and the team are extremely proud of completing for our wonderful clients.
